Endodontic Treatment

Endodontics is a field of dentistry focusing on caring for the pulp, dentin, and tissues inside the tooth. The most common procedure in endodontic treatment is a root canal, which heals decayed tissues and replaces dead pulp with a strong, biocompatible filler. While many people think root canals are painful, they're actually no more uncomfortable than having a tooth removed and end up preventing pain in the long run.

A root canal is necessary whenever decay or damage has reached the center of the tooth, and can be used in a variety of situations:

  • Tooth Decay

  • Chipped or Broken Teeth

  • Inflamed or Infected Dental Pulp

  • Trauma to the Teeth

  • Tender or Swollen Tissue Around the Tooth

  • After Repeated Dental Procedures on a Tooth

  • Severe Sensitivity to Temperature
